Civil Engineer - Setting Out - Lincolnshire/Peterborough - 42,500+ DOE
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a well established ground stabilisation company based in Lincolnshire. The right candidate for this role will be enthusiastic, punctual, boast strong communication skills and have excellent attention to detail.
Experience within a similar role is essential, day to day duties will include traveling to various client sites Nationwide, setting out and reviewing client drawings to ensure the project is progressing correctly, working closely with the onsite team to ensure all works are being carried out correctly and meet specifications and producing as built surveys of ongoing/completed works along with creating CAD drawings of completed works.
You will be based at their HQ in Lincolnshire, however will be required to travel to sites Nationwide to carry out the role, the right candidate must hold a valid driving license and be comfortable traveling long distances.
Role/Responsibilities

Initial Site Topographical Surveys

Developing 3D models for intelligent Dozers

Developing Isopachyte for cut and fill earthworks

Calculating Volumes and Areas for Earth Moving

Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and offset markers

Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
Experience/Attributes
-
AutoCAD
-
1-2 years experience within the role

Proficient in using Trimble R12 and Total Station

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Full UK Driving Licence
Permanent - Full Time
42,500+ Basic DOE
Company Van provided, along with fuel card and accommodation when traveling.
Hours to suit - there are no set hours for this role due to travel requirements.
