As a Repairs Surveyor at the Group, you will play a crucial role in helping to manage their responsive repairs and voids contracts, ensuring that their homes are maintained in accordance with agreed quality standards. You will contribute to ensuring the delivery of a customer focussed, effective and value for money service.
Further key responsibilities are listed below:

Carry out repairs and voids inspections and produce schedules of works.

Complete stock condition surveys, energy surveys and property compliance checks.

Carry out inspections of works in our homes to monitor quality standards and ensure that any follow up work is satisfactorily completed.

Ensure that all IT systems are updated in a timely manner and in accordance with the requirements of the contract and agreed processes.

Ensure that customers are completely satisfied with all works in their homes and any complaints are managed in a timely and sensitive way.
In order to be successful in application for their Repairs Surveyor role, you will need a proven knowledge of repairs and maintenance and ability to examine the condition of buildings, being able to advise on ways to improve them. Having experience of establishing effective working relationships with other colleagues, outside agencies and tenant groups is also a must.
Their Repairs Surveyor position is a patch-based position, contracted to 36.25 hours per week. To them, this means the majority of the time spent with their customers in their homes across Lincolnshire. There will also be some time spent in one of their offices (Rushden, Peterborough or Boston) for training or meetings when required.

This role currently attracts a non-contractual car allowance according to their Driving at Work Policy. This is currently set at £2,600 per annum, however eligibility for the allowance and the rate of the allowance is reviewed annually and any changes will be notified to you.
