We are seeking a Bid Accountant to join our Dorset based forward-thinking client. You will play a critical role in shaping the financial success of major bids across domestic and international markets, supporting the company’s ambitious growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial models for high-value bids, ensuring robust, accurate, and timely delivery.
  • Construction and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive bid models that align with corporate goals and client needs.
  • Ensure full understanding of international bids and provide insights into pricing strategies and bid positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the financial and strategic aspects of bids.
  • Provide clear and concise communication of financial information to key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  • Continuously improve and refine bid models to adapt to evolving business requirements and competitive landscapes.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a proven track record of delivering accurate and insightful financial analysis.
  • Experience with government contract pricing is desirable but not essential.
  • Exceptional ability to present and communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment.
