With exciting plans in place and current business activities supporting impressive plans for the future growth of their group, our client currently has a unique opportunity for a career-minded and ambitious Financial Controller. As part of the management team this is a key, number one finance role, at their head office in Bournemouth, Dorset.What will the role involve?

  • Management and development of a small finance team;
  • Implementation and continuous review of systems, processes and procedures, ensuring these are aligned across the group to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial information;
  • Overseeing the timely delivery of all management accounts and supporting commentary and analysis;
  • Liaising with external accountants and ensuring all statutory reporting requirements are met;
  • Budgeting and forecasting;
  • Oversight of payroll and all day to day finance activities.

Suitable Candidate:

  • Fully CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with multisite retail, hospitality or property experience;
  • Previous experience of setting up processes and controls;
  • Ambitious and looking for long term career development.

  • Initially office based but able to transition to hybrid once settled into the role;
