Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Financial controller.The company:-Is a highly successful property business with multiple sites in the UK. The business is based in the heart of Bournemouth. It has been established well over 10 years and generates revenues in access of £40m. This is a new and exciting role for a commercially driven financial controller to take early responsibility and lead from the front.The role:-Reports to the managing director and the CFO and will be responsible for:- the delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and supporting analysis. Initiate cost savings and profitability improvements and review sales results and margins. Inventory movement cash flow forecasts and budget preparation. Balance Sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, Head office and Stores payroll, Month and Quarter end close, preparation of year end and accounts.The person:- Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA with at least 3-5 years previous experience working as a Finance Manger/Financial Controller. You will take immediate steps to implement controls and processes to assist the business decision making process. Confident and outgoing comfortable challenging how things are done and build working relationships within the larger group. With excellent communication and presentation skills, strong excel and IT skills, knowledge of EPOS systems useful.
