- Preparation and production of monthly management accounts, ensuring anomalies are investigated and resolved.
- Create detailed, commercially viable budgets and models, and communicate their impact across the business.
- Review and sign off balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Supporting year-end processes, including liaising with external auditors.
- Prepare regular cash flow reports and manage cash investments.
- Oversee accurate quarterly VAT returns in compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Be fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
- Have proven experience in a management accounting role.
- Possess advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
- Have excellent organisation and analytical skills.
- Own a strong understanding of the financial accounting side of the business, including VAT, tax, Gift Aid and bank reconciliations.
