- Preparing and managing comprehensive management account packs
- Overseeing all aspects of management accounts, including reconciliations, budgets and forecasting
- Driving improvements in the month-end process to reduce the time frame
- Performing reconciliations and preparing journal entries
- Undertaking detailed account reviews, cost analysis and flight cost assessments to aid strategic decision-making
- Collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and efficient data flow
- Producing balance sheet and cashflow statements promptly at month end
- Act as a business partner to operations and engineering teams, providing analytical insights and support
- Leading and supporting projects such as system implementations
- Implementing and managing a new purchase order system
- Overseeing and managing payment runs and automated banking processes
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Senior Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Accountant
- Part or fully qualified in ACCA / ACA / CIMA
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
- A collaborative and personable approach
