CMA is delighted to be exclusively supporting our central Bournemouth client, who are within the property and service industry sector. Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a newly created position due to internal promotions within the accounts function.As accounts assistant you will be working closely with the Finance Director and Finance Manager supporting in a wide range of transactional duties. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting for forge a career within accounts. This is an office position where you can gain hands on experience within a communicative office, centrally based location with great public transport links and longer term has the opportunity to support with AAT studies.What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

  • Processing daily receipts and reconciling direct debit payments;
  • Raising sales invoices;
  • Ensuring correct cash allocations and running debt reports;
  • Supporting with purchase ledger and payment runs;
  • Assisting with monthly management processes;
  • Supporting with intercompany transactions.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

  • Ideally suited to candidate who has gained some exposure to processing and raising invoices;
  • Undertaking their AAT studies, or qualified by experience or wanting to start their finance qualifications;
  • Confident communicator, having to gain information from non-finance members;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to working within a small team of 4 within accounts.
