We are currently recruiting for the below post:

Assistant SEND Allocations Officer - Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole - £21.30 ph

Produce half termly report (from data from HNS and synergy) of provisions with funding due to end, then work alongside SEND Case Officers (CO) to ensure that funding for any provisions that need to continue is on synergy and approved prior to provider continuing. (proactive solution) Produce termly report (from data on HNS and synergy) of school placements with funding due to end, then work alongside Case Officers to ensure that funding for any schools that need to continue is on synergy and approved (in general up to end of phase, but some will be per academic year/ term bespoke costs. Support Access to Resources Team (ART) with working through the queries, potentially meet with ART colleague once per week to go through list of queries? Track patterns to understand issues and create potential pro-active solutions. Meet with schools who have high number of queries to resolve as a 'bulk’ rather than queries coming through individually. (Alongside ART Colleague and CO or SEND Manager who can authorise changes). Work through High Needs Checks, meeting with ART weekly to work through complex queries. Run weekly report on current EHCP’s to ensure all pupils have a current placement. Run weekly report on new EHCP’s issued to ensure all have allocated funding for any placements listed on the attendance tab. Monitor mover in’s and chase CO to add funding required if current placement is continuing. Run monthly report to capture pupils who have ceased and ensure funding has been ended on HNS. Run report on current and future placements to check that all future placements on synergy have funding requested/ approved. Produce half termly report (from data from HNS and synergy) of provisions with funding due to end, then work alongside CO’s to ensure that funding for any provisions that need to continue is on synergy and approved prior to provider continuing. Check daily report for funding approved for new placements to ensure that previous placement funding has been ended. (not applicable for banding as AO will do this when checking funding daily report)
