You'll be working closely with teams across key service areas including the Children's General Hub, Private Fostering, Children in Care, and Fulfilled Lives. Role Overview
As a Business Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and organisational support to individuals and teams, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and enabling frontline staff to focus on delivering exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and support complex multi-agency meetings, including minute-taking and summarising key decisions.
- Maintain accurate records and manage confidential information in line with GDPR.
- Respond to enquiries professionally and empathetically, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Input and manage data across various systems with high levels of accuracy.
- Prepare reports and collate data to support the team's operations and planning.
- Manage diaries for senior staff and coordinate logistical arrangements as required.
- Order goods and services following internal financial guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and escalate issues when necessary.
What We're Looking For
- 2 A Levels or NVQ Level 2/3 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard business software.
- Previous experience in customer service and/or administrative roles.
- Strong minute-taking and meeting organisation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A high degree of emotional intelligence and resilience.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
