Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing base and, when required, line maintenance on company and customer-operated aircraft, including servicing, inspections, modifications, and defect rectification.
  • Prioritising safety by operating in accordance with the SHE Technical Standards and applying identified safe systems of work.
  • Applying countermeasures identified in applicable risk assessments to assigned operations and tasks.
  • Controlling any material or company equipment provided for tasks.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the working area at all times.
  • Ensuring all associated base maintenance equipment is replenished and service dates are complied with.
  • Possibility of working shift patterns to meet operational demands.


Job Requirements:

  • Aviation apprenticeship background.
  • Experience with aircraft structures in a line or base maintenance facility.
  • Understanding of service or commercial aircraft engineering/operations (desirable).
  • Ability to gain full UK security clearance if not already gained.
  • Motivated team player and physically fit to undertake manual tasks around and on board the aircraft.
  • Medically fit for detachment.
