JOB- Quality Engineer
LOCATION- Bournemouth
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £32000-£37000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis to join our market leading manufacturer in electronics & electro-mechanical systems

The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Good knowledge of Electronics and Electro-mechanical systems
  • IPC610/620 beneficial
  • Focus on detail
  • Clear reporting and highly organised
  • Willingness to learn
  • 2 years of experience in a Quality role
  • Strong interpersonal skills

The Quality Engineer role will involve:

  • Focus on supplier quality, conducting goods in part inspections
  • Test concession management
  • Support driving First Time Pass Yield to hit targets
  • Co-ordinating Engineering changes and Manufacturing Deviations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build and test inspections, including final shipment checks
  • Provide details for supplier returns
  • Adhere to company processes
