Are you an experienced design manager with a background in Modular construction?

This is a role that will see you work on new build projects across the commercial sector including education, healthcare, military & retail up the value of 3 million. Working for a business who is growing at a rapid rate, you can expect to be involved in projects for the get go.
As a Design Manager you will:
- Manage the design process for various construction projects to achieve on-time, on-budget results.
- Lead the project design phase, providing technical support and advising on design issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and support the Commercial Department in identifying potential returns from design changes.
- Oversee Health & Safety principles in design, including fire safety plans, building control compliance, and sustainability standards.
- Ensure successful project delivery from estimation to handover.
- Conduct site assessments and review topographical surveys, drainage, and structural calculations.
We are looking for:
- Experience in design management for a contractor
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of SMART Waste, BREEAM and building regulations
- An understanding of NHBC standards
- An architecture or construction related degree or equivalent qualification
