THE COMPANYOur client, a well-established and successful registered charity with several impressive venues across the South, has been going through an exciting period of expansion over the last few years. The charity’s venues host a huge variation of events across the year – from pantomimes to huge high-profile stars, they see a whole mix come through their venues doors!
This role will be based from their Bournemouth venue, with a number of multi-purpose spaces for their events and live shows and productions.
THE ROLE
As they head into a busy events schedule, the business is on the lookout for a Technical Supervisor to help deliver fantastic delivery services across lighting, audio, stage management and more! You will be hands-on and ensure successful delivery for the events and you will work closely with the wider technical team.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Operate different areas of AV including lighting, sound and other components.
- Act as a man point of contact for upcoming events and productions.
- Oversee and support with load-in, production set up, design and pack-down of events.
- Ensure health and safety is adhered to at all times.
- Provide leadership to the wider technical team.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the technical production and delivery of live events. Hands-on, working knowledge of different AV disciplines including staging, live sound and lighting is a highly important element and having the ability to manage tight deadlines.
Strong knowledge of health and safety management is a key factor in this role – and you will have strong experience overseeing the safe delivery of events.
