Your Company:The team at NET Recruit are partnering with a highly successful manufacturing business to support their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team in the Bournemouth area. The company provide excellent solutions to their clients, across a number of niches including aerospace, automotive and industrial, among others.The position holder will be joining the account payable function and supporting on responsibilities relating to invoicing and vendors across the EMEA region. There will be aspects including vendor account maintenance, handling ad-hoc payments and posting and filing cash documents. This will be a dynamic role, perfect for an eager junior finance professional who is keen to build up their experience within a successful company and supportive team.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring supplier invoices for the EMEA area are processed accurately and are scanned into the document capture system
  • Making sure suppliers are paid in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconciling vendor/supplier statements
  • Posting cash journals as needed
  • Proactively maintaining supplier accounts
  • Ensuring that the goods that are received and the pricing is correct
  • Seeking positive resolutions to both quantity and pricing issues with the supplier
What you will need to Apply:It would be preferable that applicants have experience in dealing with commercial cash payments and also good exposure to accounts payable or purchase ledger duties, including handling invoicing and supplier statements. Applicants should have strong Microsoft Excel skills, as well as a good aptitude to learn accounting software. Excellent communication skills are highly sought after, as well as individuals who are diligent and well organised. Any applicant with a good proficiency in German would have an advantage.What you will get in Return:For the successful candidate, a starting salary up to £28,000 could be available, and will accompany a peripheral package that will include a strong allocation for both holiday and pension, as well as additional monetary benefits and rewards.
