About Us:We are working with a central Bournemouth charity looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small, friendly office. This is a varied and interesting role where you will be a key part of their team, working both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Cash transactions
- Sales invoicing
- Fundraising function analysis
- Monthly reporting to the Board
- Membership liaison
- Credit Control
- Gift Aid reclaim
- Levy repayments
- Year-end processes
- Payroll
- Shop transactions
- Ad hoc duties as necessary
Skill Set Required:
- Experienced in SAGE 50 Accounts
- SAGE 50 Payroll (advantageous but not essential)
- Financial reporting (Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss)
- Proficient in Excel
- Analytical skills
- Proficient in Outlook
- Good telephone manner
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Problem-solving abilities
- Team player
- Adaptable, reliable, and trustworthy
