Pertemps is recruiting reliable Parcel Delivery Drivers for a temporary position in Dorset, with a start date as soon as possible.
The role involves delivering parcels to residential properties while ensuring excellent customer service and is scheduled Monday to Friday from 11.30 to 19.30.
The pay rate is £13.37 per hour from Monday to Saturday and £14.49 per hour on Sundays, with overtime after 40 hours paid at £15.36 per hour.
Candidates should hold a full UK manual driving licence, have no more than 6 penalty points, and ideally possess experience in customer-facing roles, although delivery experience is not essential as training will be provided.
Excellent communication, customer service skills, and good organisational abilities are required for this role.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for reliable Parcel Delivery Drivers to join our client in Dorset and the surrounding areas on a full time, temporary basis. Accurately sorting the mail for your route and loading your van at the beginning of your shift
Driving a van to delivering parcels to residential properties and occasional letters, providing excellent customer service
Using a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and follow your route

The ideal Parcel Delivery Driver:

Full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
Happy to consent to a DBS check
Experience in a customer facing role
Experience in a delivery driving role would be ideal but not essential as training will be provided
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good organisational skills
Comfortable completing a postal route on foot, as this may occasionally be required
