TeamJobs is excited to offer an opportunity to join our client in Bournemouth as a Storeroom Operative. In this role, you'll collaborate with the sales administration team to ensure accurate and timely production and shipping of customer orders.

  • Up to 24,000
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am -4.30pm or 9am - 5pm
  • 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (raising with service)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, code, label, and package inventory according to work orders.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met for safe and secure shipping.
  • Maintain accurate stock records with regular checks.
  • Organise inventory in designated bins and create new bins when required.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well-organised.
  • Track shipments and resolve any courier issues.
  • Communicate delivery discrepancies and escalate problems to management.
  • Ensure adequate stock of packaging and labelling materials.
  • Organise supplies in a neat and accessible manner.
  • Recode and relabel returned or cancelled goods.
  • Liaise with other departments when necessary.
  • Attend operations and sales meetings as required.
  • Generate reports and contribute to smooth warehouse operations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Professional telephone manner and accuracy in administration.
