Job Opportunity: Skilled Carpenter for Residential New Builds in Bournemouth
We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our clients team in Bournemouth, specialising in residential new build projects.
Job Duties:
Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
Measuring, cutting, or shaping wood, plastic, and other materials
Interpreting and following blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Ensuring all work meets building standards and regulations
Collaborating with project managers and other trades to ensure project timelines are met
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential construction
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Excellent understanding of carpentry materials and requirements
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
