A 3rd Line Cloud Engineer (Bournemouth) is required for a growing Technical Solutions business.

As a 3rd Line Cloud Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality technical support to our clients. Whether remotely or in person, you'll tackle a range of incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs. You'll be the final escalation point, interacting with VIPs, C-level executives, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the ultimate technical escalation point for our 1st and 2nd Line Engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within agreed timescales.
  • Own and manage escalated incidents and requests.
  • Collaborate with 2nd Line Engineers on diagnosis and fault resolution.

Essential Skills:

  • 4+ years of demonstrable 3rd Line Cloud Engineer experience in IT service management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, emphasising active listening and questioning.
  • Motivated attitude toward professional standards and certification-based exams.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting Microsoft Windows platforms and iOS devices.
  • Installation, Configuration, and Troubleshooting

Technical skills to include;

  • Windows Desktop -10/11
  • Telephone and remote IT Support
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange / Office 365
  • Networking (LAN / WAN / Firewalls / Routing / Vlan)
  • Azure
  • VMWare / Hyper-V

Certifications to Consider:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-303/304)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-100/101)
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)


Salary for this role is competitive £38,000-£50,000 dependant on experience

Based on site in the office. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, working between the hours of 8am - 5pm.
