NET Recruit is searching the market for a Project Manager to join a technology business operating just in the Bournemouth area.  You RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Acting as a Bid Manager, handling customer bids and supporting the creation of developed quotations documentation as well as a fully costed project model
  • Presenting quotation and bid documents alongside the models to senior managers for approval
  • Creating an initial schedule with bid resource estimates to enable the accurate generation of agreed low level schedules in return
  • Managing allocated projects within the set out timescales and budgets, ensuring that project plans are created with task breakdowns, budgets and schedules
  • Ensuring the accuracy of data being used in the project plan and the smooth transition from sales to projects
  • Requesting both internal and external resources as needed to complete project related tasks
  • Consulting with customers and the business to maintain the project schedule
  • Measuring project progress against the set out plan, budget and schedule and gaining formal approval within the project criteria for any negative variance in the profit/revenue or schedule and ensuring that all stakeholders are made aware of any changes to the original project plan
  • Developing recovery strategies to action identified project slippages to ensure that planned actions get back on track and can be achieved
  • Managing and mitigating project risks, ensuring mitigation plans are created and that customers and the business are looped in when required
  • Supporting the management of financial instruments and the generation of invoices against agreed project milestones
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Strong experience within project management, utilising project management techniques and methodologies
  • Bid management experience - including the preparation of quotes for clients
  • Project management qualification would be ideal but not essential
  • Personnel management experience within the context of project management
  • Stakeholder management, dealing with individuals at all levels and of mixed disciplines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or another project scheduling software
  • Analysis skills
