You will provide a professional, personalised telephone answering service, expertly handling a variety of call types using bespoke scripts. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you’ll be responsible for accurately taking messages, transferring calls, scheduling appointments through external systems, and ensuring seamless diary management. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as you’ll navigate client interactions with professionalism, sensitivity, and confidence.Salary - £23,926 working a rota between 7am-10pm Monday-Friday with 1 weekend in 4 (days off in the week on rota’d weekends) You will be required to work on site just outside of Bournemouth (Ferndown) but there will be an opportunity to move hybrid after probation.Duties:
  • Manage inbound calls efficiently using client-specific scripts to provide a tailored and professional service.
  • Accurately take messages, redirect calls, and book appointments 
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to all internal policies and procedures to maintain a compliant and positive workplace.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing in-house training programs, including updates and refresher sessions
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a contact centre or customer service role or busy telephone reception is essential
  • Ability to read instructions whilst on a call and manage appointment bookings, amendments and cancellations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent use of English language and grammar.
  • Proficiency in basic IT skills and experience using computer systems
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and empathetic approach to customer interactions.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to handle calls efficiently
  • High attention to detail
