Sales Support Administrator

Location: Bournemouth

Salary: £25,500 per annum (Rising to £26.5k after 3-month probation period completed)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (1 in every 10 Saturdays 9am - 12pm, paid overtime)

Our client, based in central Bournemouth, have continued their success and growth in their industry, and are now looking for a new person to join their friendly and successful team.

As a Sales Support Advisor, you are responsible for supporting the sales team in meeting customer needs. You will also be required to handle supplier issues and maintaining customer information on the system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project management to include loss making accounts, bulk supplier exits, reverse selling and achieving lower rates from our suppliers.
  • Audits, issuing, scanning, debriefing with the audit team, making amendments to sites based on the results and reporting.
  • Creating reports requested by clients including flash reports, disposal reports, performance reports, audit reports, biannual service reports, weight reports and service schedule reports.
  • Administration of cancellations after these have been dealt with by the account manager.
  • Actioning the change of client address’ and change of ownership.
  • Monitoring and actioning the Company public e-mail inbox (info, sales, sales support, and compliance).
  • Chasing suppliers that we are yet to obtain disposal information from.
  • Ensuring that Waste Transfer Notes and Service Agreements are sent to the relevant people for signature and completion prior to ordering any containers.
  • Assist with quotes and issuing contracts.
  • Completing service amendments that have been requested by clients, in accordance with company guidelines. This includes obtaining any authorisation before proceeding with any amendments to service.
  • Investigating potential supplier changes when instructed to do so by management (Inc. Team Leaders).
  • Placing service orders with subcontractors in accordance with the client’s order requirements.
  • Sourcing suppliers and buy prices for the Sales Department when requested to aid with tender documents.
  • Sending new suppliers the supplier welcome pack.
  • Responsible for taking and circulating minutes at weekly/monthly sales meetings.
