Electronics Test & Assembly Technician
Job Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £13.50 - £16.50 per hour + excellent benefits
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm & Friday 7.30am - 1.00pm
We are recruiting for several Test & Assembly Technicians on a permanent basis to join a leading manufacturer who design and manufacture products for the he Avionics and Defence industry.
Working out of a purpose built modern, state of the art facilities you will be part of a hardworking, friendly and dedicated team working on the test and assembly of new, prototype and serviceable high value products for various Avionics and Defence Solutions.
Duties will include;
- Electro mechanical assembly
- Soldering
- Test and Inspection to component level
- Component level replacement
- Working to drawings or manufacturing
The successful candidate will possess;
- Formal qualifications; City & Guilds, ONC, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent, or time served experience within electronics is desirable
- Experience of component and final product testing
- Good level of soldering experience
- Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications
- Able to use computers for logging work
