Sonic Summary

info
  • The job is for a sales position at a well-established print business with over 35 years of experience in high-quality print production, focusing on the South of the UK.
  • Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in print sales and possess the ability to identify and win new business opportunities.
  • The company values personal drive and motivation, offering training in technical aspects of digital print and finishing.
  • The position offers uncapped earning potential and opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.
  • The role emphasizes the importance of quality and service over competing solely on price and volume.

Good print is about more than simply putting ink on paper, good design with the right output and expertise can elevate the final product to the next level.

We've been retained by a forward thinking and exceptionally well led print business with over 35 years experience and history in the high-quality and high-value print production space to help them add to their external sales team, covering the South of the UK.

Why should that be interesting to you?

It's easy to be one of the "also rans" in print manufacturing. Businesses that have been just about surviving, that haven't invested in themselves or their people in years and don't have a plan for the future. That competes on price and volume. We don't see a long term future in that.

This opportunity has potential. It has new and proven leadership, an ongoing investment in the latest systems and print & finishing capability including the latest HP Indigo presses, but an old fashioned approach to quality, service and people.

They're profitable, quietly confident, motivated and keen to grow with strong end-user clients who recognise their capabilities and value.

For you, we'd like the role and opportunity to be about development and growth. Unlike many, we don't need you to bring a stack of business to keep them afloat (but some would be nice).

In fact you might not have a great deal of experience in digital print sales, but what we hope you are is intelligent, personally motivated and keen to learn and grow with an established business with a young heart.

They can teach you about the technical intricacies of their style of print & finishing, what they can't teach you is about personal drive and self belief. They truly believe that upon seeing the superb quality of the products they produce for their clients, that you'll also see the added value that they provide and believe in them too.

The Requirement

  • Individual to join Southern sales office to support existing Sales Team.
  • Focus on creating new sales opportunities with end users for high quality digital print and finishing.

The Person

  • At least 2 years experience in print
  • Sales focused, with capability to identify and win new business
  • Trainable and eager to learn
  • Motivated
  • Able to work on own initiative

The opportunity to earn is uncapped, and the potential to grow is huge. The marketplace in the South of England (including London) and the surrounding areas will be your focus and will be yours to build new business within.

If this sounds like something that makes you want to get up and go to work and tell as many potential customers about as possible, we'd love to hear from you.
