Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on young learners? Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of EYFS Support Assistants in Bournemouth.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a stimulating and safe learning environment for children aged 1 to 5 years
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through age-appropriate activities and play
  • Work with small groups or individual children to provide additional support and guidance as needed
  • Help maintain a tidy and organised classroom, preparing resources and materials for daily activities

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with young children, ideally within an early years setting

  • Understanding of the EYFS framework and its principles
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the classroom.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Level 2 Early Years qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo one
  • Valid references from previous employers
