ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER

£40,000 - £45,000 + BONUS + TRAINING + BENEFITS

Due to the continued success of the business, my client are looking to add to their skilled design team with the addition of a Electronic Design Engineer.

We are looking for an ambitious Electronics Design Engineer. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on projects for the Defence and Military markets primarily.

THE ROLE:

Design and develop electronic circuits and systems, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation using CAD software.
Develop and debug firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electronic components.
Conduct simulations and analyses to validate circuit designs and ensure compliance with specifications.
Prototype, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems to optimize performance and reliability.
Select and evaluate components and materials for use in designs, considering factors such as cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project planning activities.

THE PERSON:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
2+ years of experience in design.
Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools.
Experience with PCB design software. For example Altium designer or similar
Strong understanding of embedded systems design and programming.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
