Your new role

As the Events Coordinator, you will be part of the central Events team within the Marketing & Communications Department. You will support the planning, organisation, promotion, and evaluation of various events, including Open Days, exhibitions, conferences, summer schools, awards celebrations, and graduation ceremonies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualification in events management, marketing, PR, or relevant professional experience
  • Experience in planning and organising events
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing role
  • Proficiency in IT packages, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and undertake occasional UK-wide travel
