The Impact of the RoleAs Credit Control Manager you will play a key role in leading, overseeing and supporting the Credit Control Team to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts and minimise bad debt exposure. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, implementing efficient processes, and upholding company credit policies to maintain healthy cash flow.

What you will do:

  • Drive Collection Success - Oversee and support the team in managing overdue accounts, negotiating settlements, and implementing recovery strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams and customers to resolve queries and enhance the credit control process.
  • Team Leadership - Mentor, coach, and develop a strong credit control team, ensuring performance excellence.
  • Strategic Insight - Analyse debtor trends, produce key reports, and recommend improvements to strengthen financial health.
  • Process Innovation - Review and enhance credit control processes for maximum efficiency and compliance. Your Attributes

You will have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or QBE with relevant experience in business partnering and financial reporting).
  • Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong system skills, including Excel, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and developing others.
