CMA Recruitment Group is exclusively partnering with a property developer who are based in Dorset and operate across the South Coast. Working closely with senior figures across the business, the successful candidate will be able to operate almost entirely remotely, with the expectation to only meet in person several times per month. This is a standalone position that offers significant autonomy, making it best suited to a seasoned finance professional who’s very comfortable operating at this seniority and above. The client expects this role to be employed on a three days per week basis, although they are able to offer flexibility on this.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?

Year end statutory accounts preparation and returns.
Quarterly VAT returns.
Monthly management information including analysis of project costs.
Maintenance of finance systems and processes.
Business partnering with senior management, focussing on project profitability and wider commercial factors.
All elements of transactional accounting, albeit very low volume.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

An ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification is not essential.
Previous experience at this seniority and above is required as this is a standalone role.
Knowledge of the property sector is highly beneficial.
