This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior finance professional who is looking for a part time role with an extremely progressive employer. It is a brand-new opportunity to join an entrepreneurial family run business whose ventures include a well-known global household brand, working hybrid and from their offices in either Bournemouth or the New Forest.

What will the Head of Finance role involve?

  • Overseeing all financial and operational activities for the owners personal and business interests, ensuring financial planning, compliance, and governance;
  • Managing IT, capital expenditures and building projects to drive operational efficiency and growth;
  • Manage tax compliance, financial governance and payroll administration;
  • Implementing and maintaining robust financial systems and controls to streamline operations;
  • Administering personal family matters, including insurance policies, utilities, and invoice management;
  • Liaising with external advisors and financial institutions for property transactions, loans, and governance needs.

Suitable Candidate for the Head of Finance role:

  • A proven track record of financial planning, reporting, and governance;
  • Previous experience within retail, FMCG or property related sectors would be an advantage, as would experience in capital expenditures, complex projects and asset administration;
  • Knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance standards.
