Are you an experienced primary school teacher looking for a more flexible day-to-day approach to teaching? Or perhaps you are an ECT seeking additional teaching experience in a range of schools before finding a permanent position?

GSL Education are currently supporting numerous local primary schools across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas with their day-to-day supply staffing. This would be a great way to get your foot in the door ahead of September positions that will come up in the summer term. Exploring a variety of schools enables you to gain additional experience in a range of year groups and schools, which will enhance your experience, ability and help you to discover your preferences. Through this role, you are likely to discover permanent teaching positions if that is something that you would desire long-term.

As a primary school supply teacher, you will play an important role in providing continued support for pupils in the absence of their class teacher. This role is crucial to ensure that the class continues to receive high-quality teaching and learning. Perhaps you are seeking more flexibility so that you can manage a better work-life balance? This is your chance to make a difference while enjoying some flexibility and ownership over the days that you work. This could be the perfect role for you!

While the school primarily caters to mainstream education, you may be called upon to cover for necessary classrooms and provide support to students with Special Education Needs. Alongside a dedicated team, you will be able to support these pupils within the classroom. Therefore, any prior experience or knowledge of SEN is highly desirable.
