Your Company:A highly successful and progressive Audio-Visual solutions business have partnered with the team at NET Professional to search for a talented AV Pre-Sales Consultant to join their team, working across the Dorset area. Over the last decade this business has really been developing their business strategies and operations and have such reaped excellent rewards from this, becoming a leader in their sector and having the privilege to partner with some of the biggest technological businesses in the market.This role will fit in nicely in their sales process, working with a selection of the internal teams so provide an exceptional service to customers grounded in strong technical expertise and sound knowledge of the products/service on offer. It will be crucial that the position holder is able to fully understand customer needs and be able to provide effect solutions that address these.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Providing technical support to the Sales team
  • Acquiring requirements from potential clients/prospects
  • Proposing high quality solutions that meet or exceed clients' needs
  • Ensuring that project wins are prepared accordingly before transferring to the Project Installation team
  • Making sure these include scope of work, materials, floor plans, programming requirements and schematics 
What you will need to Apply:To be considered for this role, you will need to possess strong previous experience working within a pre-sales environment and possess specific good working knowledge of AV systems and experience dealing with commercial clients. The company are looking for a professional with an excellent ability in working with drawing packages, preferably either Stardraw or CAD. Ideally, a certification as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) would be needed as well. Additionally good communication skills and an attention to detail will prove valuable in this role.What you will get in Return:The successful candidate will be rewarded with a starting salary of around £60,000 which will also accompany a remuneration package including an annual bonus, excellent holiday allowance, pension contribution and technical equipment including mobile phone and laptop.This role can be worked in a hybrid capacity, in and around the Dorset area, potentially travelling to customer locations if needed. However, this role will largely provide a comfortable working balance and a lot of freedom.
