Robert Half have partnered exclusively with an organisation just outside of Christchurch to recruit for a BI Analyst to join the finance team on a permanent basis. Paying up to £55,000 with fantastic benefits, you will be the specialist in designing and developing BI solutions to meet business needs.

The Role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, gathering their requirements and translating them into scalable and efficient data integration, analysis and reporting solutions.
  • Create robust data pipelines, design analytical models, and deliver insightful reports and dashboards. You will design and develop analytical models to provide multidimensional and tabular views of data for efficient analysis.
  • Create and configure data connections, data flows, control flows, and transformations to ensure accurate and reliable data integration.
  • Implement data mining and predictive analytics functionalities to uncover patterns and trends within the data.
  • Implement data governance practices, including data quality checks, data lineage, and metadata management.
  • Apply security measures to protect data assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Define and enforce data access controls, data masking, and encryption policies.
  • Provide support, guidance, and training to end-users on BI tools and solutions.

About You

  • Previous experience as a BI Developer
  • Good understanding of Python or similar scripting langauges
  • Proficient in buiding reports, dashboards and visualisation tools in Power BI
  • Knowledge of ETL tools would be advantageous

Salary on offer is up to £55,000. This role is predominantly office based, with the main office based on the outskirts of Christchurch with some ad-hoc flexibility to work from home.
