Position Details:

  • Location- Bournemouth
  • Position -SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Contract Type-Temp- Perm
  • Minimum Daily Rate- 85.10
  • Hours 09.00am-3.30pm (Term Time only) Monday-Friday
  • Start Date January


The role is working in SEN Support and will consist of:

  • Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special education needs)
  • Creating a safe environment that allows the children to have fun, learn and succeed
  • Academic support of a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assisting the teacher


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR
  • Experience of working with children in a youth setting OR
  • A strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (preferred but not essential, as training can be provided).

Eligibility Requirements

Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references.
