With competitive pay rates ranging from £120 to £150 per day, your skills and experience as a Supply Teacher will be recognised and rewarded.
As a Supply Teacher, you will cover various subjects and year groups across different schools, ensuring that learning continues smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher. You will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and manage classroom behaviour effectively. Quick adaptability and strong classroom management skills will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities of the Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across different subjects.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students remain on task.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school or adapt when necessary.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of student learning.
- Adapt to different classroom environments and teaching needs.
Requirements of the Supply Teacher:
- QTS or PGCE.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and key stage requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various schools and settings.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive is advantageous but not required.
