About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, your role will focus on providing specialised 1:1 support for pupil with complex needs in Key Stage 1.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised 1:1 support to pupil with complex needs, ensuring they receive tailored educational and pastoral support.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies effectively.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs, ideally within a school setting is preferred, not mandatory.
  • Understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and strategies to support learning and development.
  • Compassionate, patient, and resilient with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in children’s lives.
