About The RoleTeam – Vitality Technology - IT Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working!What this role is all about:Are you passionate about leading dynamic IT teams and delivering exceptional user experiences? Join Vitality as our IT End User Service Team Lead and drive innovation in a company that values your expertise and growth!You will manage the End User Service Team and work closely with internal service delivery teams & 3rd party functions in assuring service stability and improvements to our Technology function.This role will take ownership in supporting our key business services with a focus on End User Services for a user base exceeding 3,000. You will create and foster a dynamic partnership between IT and the wider business community through strong communication and pro-active engagement around incidents, problem management and continuous improvement.Key Actions
  • Meet or exceed Service and Compliance levels for services including:
    • Incidents resolved in SLA
    • Problem Tickets resolved in SLA
    • Technical Debt resolved on target
    • Patching and Vulnerability resolved within tolerance
    • Audit items resolved on target
  • Work with the Head of Engineering to understand and build the budget for the area, identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Organise and manage team structure, workload, priorities and KPI’s across the team.
  • Focus on driving efficiencies throughout our services, ensuring personnel have and or acquire, the requisite skills aligned to current and strategic services.
  • Recruit and plan the development of individual team members, technically, commercially, and personally. Ensuring a cohesive successor planning model is in place and kept current.
  • Service appraisals and performance management across the team.
  • Expectation to participate in on call rota as well as manage the rota throughout the team.
What do you need to thrive?
  • An extensive and proven track record of Microsoft or specialised IT Operational support experience.
  • A detailed understanding of:
    • M365 Outlook, Exchange, email filtering – anti spam and malware.
    • Active Directory on-premise and Azure
    • Windows desktop including Windows 11
    • MECM (SCCM & InTune)
    • Mac OS & JAMF
  • Detailed experience in supporting service delivery functions.
  • Experience with various Cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP, Networks and Infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience in running or influencing Incident and Problem Management.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Continual service improvement lifecycle.
  • Operational and end user focussed.
