Role purpose
As Import/Export Controller you’ll become a pivotal member of the Supply Chain team in processing shipments to and from global customers.

As Import/Export Controller you'll:
- Process shipments to and from global customers
- Maintain adherence to import and export procedures and controls
- Audit import declarations to ensure compliance with HRMC procedures
- Resolve queries with shipments right through to completion
- Constantly monitor production schedules to ensure timely collections to meet with agreed customer schedules
- Negotiate with carriers to ensure the most cost effective shipment methods
As Import/Export Controller you’ll have:
- Prior experience of logistics compliance
- Knowledge of stock movement transactions
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office programs including Excel
- Good customer service and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A methodical, analytic and process driven approach to work
- The ability to handle multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines, within a fast-paced environment
