Connect Legal are currently recruiting for a number of Legal Secretary/PA roles in Bournemouth & Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant/Secretary/PA to join an expanding team in Bournemouth or Poole. Our clients offer a fantastic collaborative working environment with a number of benefits. This is a varied role and duties will include but not be limited to:

Document Preparation:

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Format and edit documents according to legal standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all legal documents.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments for the legal team.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls and emails.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and records.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the legal team.

Legal Research:

  • Conduct legal research using various databases and resources.
  • Summarize research findings and provide relevant information to attorneys.

Court Filings:

  • Prepare and file court documents, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.
  • Maintain court records and track case progress.

Client Interaction:

  • Assist with client inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients.

Personal Qualities and Skills:

  • Friendly and helpful team player
  • Well organised with ability to prioritise workload
  • Great spoken and written communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately with a good attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to use Microsoft Office packages and possess sufficient typing skills

You will also have:

  • Prior experience in a similar role and a comprehensive working knowledge of one of the below fields, their processes and procedures.
