Description
As a Legal Secretary in our Commercial Property team, you will provide crucial administrative and secretarial support to our solicitors and fee earners. Your main duties will include:

Document Management:
- Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and contracts.
- Managing and maintaining accurate filing systems (electronic and physical).

Client Support:
- Acting as a first point of contact for clients, managing inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Scheduling meetings and managing diaries for fee earners.

Transaction Coordination:
- Assisting with pre-completion and post-completion processes, including SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications, and requisitions.
- Supporting the team in handling property transactions from instruction to completion.

Administrative Tasks:
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
- Processing bills and preparing financial documentation for transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Profile
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Commercial Property team or similar legal environment.(MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE)
- Strong knowledge of property transactions and relevant legal documentation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and approachable demeanour, with a client-focused attitude.
