Are you an experienced Administrator with interest in working with pupils with additional learning needs?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking an Administrator to fulfil a long term position based within West Howe location! This role is more than just an Admin position, offering the opportunity to be involved out-of-office and in the classroom collaboration with pupils!

The school is a specialist educational campus and is an all-through Autism Specific Provision, catering for pupils aged 3-19 years old, offering fantastic facilities from soft-play room to sensory rooms, and food technology, music and multi-use games areas!

The main focus of this role is administration, but it comes with additional responsibilities and an opportunity to work with the pupils outside of the office, meaning no day will be the same!- Administration and Receptionist role- Teaching Assistant work included (small groups or 1:1 support)- Support with transition from local transport to the classroom- Communicating with your reception colleague to organise the mornings (radio instructing)

For this role, the salary is currently set up to £14 per hour depending on candidate experience, and is a full-time, long term role with the potential for permanency after 12 weeks.

For this role, you will be:

  • Open to a dynamic and varied day-to-day, with a passion for working with children
  • An excellent communicator with a patient and organised manner
  • Keen to jump into a position that differs day-to-day
  • Have good knowledge or understanding of Special Educational Needs, specifically Autism (ASD) whether this be personal or professional experience
  • Provide an excellent, inclusive service to students within the school

This role requires a child and adult Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate, which can be obtained through Reed.
