This is a great opportunity to join a well established but growing local company, within the manufacturing industry.
The Role:
- Work within the Operations Team conducting and supporting the wider team with tasks such as purchasing, booking in goods, labelling, stickering, kitting, assembly and general warehouse duties.
- 50/50 between being office based and factory/warehouse based.
- Purchasing of raw material to specification
- Purchasing of Consumables and factory ad hoc items when required
- Booking goods in on the ERP / MRP system, and responsible for the accurate data input
- Responsible for labelling of products and storage control of finished goods within the warehouse
- Loading vehicles safely by forklift truck
- Placing orders for Sub-Contract activities
The Candidate:
- Experience in using an ERP / MRP system is desirable.
- Experience in goods inward or material inspection would be highly advantageous.
- Experience in purchasing within a production setting would be highly advantageous.
- Experience operating a counter-balance forklift truck is essential. Forklift certification would be highly advantageous.
