Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer looking for a dynamic role in a reputable company? Our client, a leading facilities management company, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team and service a high-profile retail contract in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.
Position: Mobile Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer
Location: Bournemouth and Surrounding Areas
Salary: 43,000 - 45,000 per annum
Benefits: Van and Fuel Card Provided, 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, 1 in 6 Call-Out with 105 Standby Fee and Overtime Pay, 40 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of air conditioning systems across multiple retail sites.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure all systems comply with safety and operational standards.
- Respond to emergency call-outs as per the 1 in 6 rota, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and report any significant issues to the management team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration).
- F-Gas certification is essential.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
Working Hours:
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Participation in a 1 in 6 call-out rota with a standby fee of 105 and additional overtime pay for call-outs.
