Office Administrator
  • Location: Poole, BH12

  • Working Hours: 09:30am - 15:00pm

Our client is seeking an Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day administration within the office, working alongside current staff and the Transport Manager. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and foster a friendly and professional work environment.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Establish effective working relationships across the organisation.
  • Input data from Hazardous Waste Consignment & Delivery Notes onto customer invoices.
  • Collate and maintain data for monthly reporting of Hazardous Waste Collections and deliveries.
  • Assist with the administration cycle and prepare various documents as required.
  • Handle general office duties and manage overflow of telephone calls, including booking collection requests and emailing invoices.
  • Support the team during peak times, whether scheduled or unscheduled, and undertake long-term project work to aid the company’s development and growth.
  • Send Pre-Acceptance Audits to customers and ensure their return, following up as necessary.
  • Data entry into SAGE for analysis purposes.
  • Learn about other scheduled office work to cover holiday periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong administrative experience (candidates with less experience may be considered if they meet other criteria).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive work environment.
