Your Company:A services business is searching the market for a Pest Technician to join the growing team, to cover the Dorset area. This business, with over a decade of history, provides services to both commercial and residential clients across the region, specialising in a variety of pest control methods and approaches. This role is vital in the delivery of these expert services, ensuring that clients are left happy and, in a position, to safely manage their premises to reduce the risk of re-infestation.Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting residential and commercial properties in order to identify pest infestations
  • Identifying the type of pests and using expert knowledge to formulate a treatment plan
  • Applying pest control measures, such as pesticides to exterminate the pests safely
  • Ensuring entry points are sealed to minimise the potential for re-infestations
  • Providing sound advice to clients to prevent pest infestations, including giving recommendations for ongoing maintenance
  • Creating and updating service records and reports for work undertaken
What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working as a Level 2 Pest Control Technician, or experience from within a comparable, relevant role. Expert knowledge of the different kinds of pests is also required, including knowledge of habits and methods for control. Excellent communication skills are a must, alongside the ability to work autonomously and make decisions in high-pressure situations. It is expected that applicants would hold a qualification or certification in pest control (RSPH Level 2).  Applicants must have a full clean driving license and be prepared to travel across Dorset. Applicants must also be located either in and around the greater Bournemouth area, or as far East as Totton.
