A successful and rapidly expanding business within the aerospace sector is seeking a Product Manager, to join the team in the Bournemouth area, managing a portfolio of software-based products.  You RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Defining and delivering the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring it is aligned to business goals
  • Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from inception and design, right through to the launch stage, ensuring a seamless execution at each stage
  • Enhancing market offerings by identifying opportunities to develop partnerships and acting upon these
  • Conducting detailed analysis of market trends, obtaining a clear picture of not only customer needs but also the competitive landscape and utilising this information to inform commercial decision making
  • Working on developing customer segmentation and buying behaviour insights, to utilise this information to influence the set out priorities in the roadmap
  • Analysing and reporting on product performance in order to identify gaps and areas for improvement in order to inform and support new development
  • Managing the product approval process to ensure that product investments are justifiable
  • Collaborating cross-functionally on product launches to ensure success
  • Creating positioning strategies, training for sales and value propositions
  • Acting as the main point of contact for both customers and internal teams for all things product related
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Strong, hands-on experience within software product management
  • Exposure to the aerospace industry
  • Specific experience in dealing with business planning, market positioning and analysis
  • A strategic mindset, with good commercial decision-making skills
  • Exquisite communication, as well as the ability to effectively gather and then translate customer requirements in tangle product solutions
