As a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the mechanical installation aspects on key projects. Your technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills will be essential in executing projects to the highest standards, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. Day to day responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Provide guidance on installing mechanical systems and coordinate with cross-functional teams for project integration
  • Monitor compliance with engineering specifications and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize disruptions
  • Maintain records of work activities and equipment maintenance, supporting comprehensive project documentation and safety culture
  • Identify hazards and ensure all work follows relevant safety regulations

Skill set required for the role:

  • Proven supervisory experience in mechanical installations on complex M&E projects
  • Strong planning, organisation, and monitoring skills with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of communicating effectively at all levels and enjoying challenges
  • Ability to prioritise work, thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations with adaptability
  • Legal right to work in the UK with NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, HVAC or a related discipline (desirable)
