Landlord Liaison OfficerBournemouthTemporaryFull time - HybridAre you passionate about helping people access secure housing? We are recruiting for a Landlord Liaison Officer to support individuals in housing need by working closely with private landlords and key stakeholders to secure and sustain tenancies.THE ROLEAs a Landlord Liaison Officer, you will act as a broker between tenants and landlords, providing financial guarantees and tenancy support to create long-term, sustainable housing solutions.
  • Support the administration of financial assistance schemes, including rent deposit loans and bond schemes.
  • Work with deposit protection schemes and carry out bond claim assessments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with private landlords to increase access to PRS accommodation.
  • Assess the suitability of accommodation and provide tenancy advice.
  • Act as the first point of contact for landlords regarding property availability and tenancy issues.
  • Provide reports, statistics, and contribute to policy reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with housing legislation, data protection, and council policies.
THE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar housing-related role, particularly working with landlords, tenants, and financial assistance schemes.
  • Experience working in customer service or with vulnerable clients.
  • Knowledge of tenancy agreements, housing benefits, and PRS accommodation.
  • Ability to negotiate and mediate between tenants, landlords, and local authorities.
  • Strong financial and legal understanding related to tenancy agreements.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
THE CONTRACT
  • Temporary – 3 months
  • Office-based/local area a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Must be able to travel for viewings and sign-ups at short notice
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • The pay range for the role is £19.72 to £22.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £16.81 to £18.76 per hour, inclusive of holiday
