Assistant Quantity Surveyor
We have been retained by a client, to assist in the search for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well known regional main contractor in Bournemouth.
About the business:
The business, a privately owned regional main contractor, they have turned over circa 100mil a year for the last few years. They have taken on projects across a range of sectors including industrial, commercial and defence valuing typically up to 25mil.
About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will join an established commercial team and will work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on one of the upcoming schemes in the region.
Key Responsibilities as Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, on sub-contract packages from procurement through to final account
- Be involved in monthly CVRs
- Have involvement in pre-construction activities
Requirements for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor position:
- HNC / Degree qualified
- Have a proven track record of working at Assistant / Quantity Surveyor level within a main contractor
- Good working knowledge of JCT forms of contract (NEC experience is desirable but not essential)
